Mr. Phewali and Rohan Dangol Awarded
On the occasion of the NNIPA Sports Award 2024, our Gorkhali Rugby Club senior player, Mr. Pujan Phewali (Maske), was honored with the Best Player award by the Nepal Rugby Association (NRA). Mr. Phewali was nominated for the Best Player of the Year 2024 by the NRA for his outstanding performance in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, and the Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy in Doha, Qatar.
Additionally, Mr. Rohan Dangol was awarded the Best Male Player of the Year 2024 by the Nepal Rugby Association during the 12th Annual General Meeting on January 4th, held at Thamel Park Hotel, Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal. The award was presented by Mr. Tanka Lal Ghising, Member Secretary of the National Sports Council, along with Mr. Deepak Devkota, President of the NRA; Mr. Chetan Raj Giri, Senior Vice President of NRA; Mr. Govinda Ghimire, General Secretary; and other committee members.
In this occasion, Ms. Srijana Rai was also awarded the Best Female Player of the Year 2024.
