Growing up in the eastern region of Nepal, There was a huge athlete growing inside me, always wanting to represent national colors. I was a marathon runner, I had running inside my blood. One beautiful day running in the national stadium, I found group of boys playing with an oval shaped ball. Being curious about this new sport, I joined the team’s training that day. I can’t really realise how far I have reached where I am now with this sport.
Learning to play this new sport in the mornings, surprisingly I was also coaching different schools of Kathmandu about my newly loved sport during the day. This is how I began my coaching career. Over the years, gaining new experiences, I then went on to become the head coach of Koshi Province for the 9th National Games of Nepal. Now, having been recognised among one of the most experienced coaches of Nepal, I feel proud to have kept my mother’s dream of me becoming one of the great person in my sport.
